Greenspot Farm is family owned and operated. The land that Greenspot occupies was purchased in 1986, along with "Bear Valley Water Stock" for irrigation purposes. We opened in 1988 with the farms first planting of christmas trees. With so many Christmas Tree Farms in the area it was hard to pull people into our farm. I am a fourth generation farmer in the Mentone/Redlands area. My great grandfather farmed oranges in Redlands, my grandfather farmed oranges and planted the first avocado grove in Mentone and also the first "choose and cut" christmas tree farm in Redlands. My father whom I learned so much from followed his own roots, farming three Christmas Tree Farms, Oranges, Avocados, and the love of his life, besides my mother, beekeeping. I am proud to say that from the influences in my life I can also pass down to my children and grandchildren knowledge that I have been taught as they make the fifth and sixth generation of farmers in my beautiful family.

   People ask "How big is your farm?" Well, our farm is 28 acres, I tell everyone it's my 28 acre back yard. I think of all the big farms that are hundreds of acres and i know i have a little farm, yet every year when planting season comes along it feels like a million acres. Little by little the weeds die off, the crops flourish, and with fences mended, we hang up the welcome sign. We always look forward to the season of cooler weather and smiling faces!
